FYE tour review
Cristins review, from NJ, May 17th 2003
We were waiting for Steph at
FYE and I see fye people and Afraz setting up equiptment but no kast boys...so Mel and I are looking around in FYE checking
stuff out..and im like ok i have to go to the bathroom..ill be back, Mel...so im leaving the store and i run smack into Tim,
hes like walking toward me and im like ok i wont say anything Ill wait til later...and not realizing/remembering I have the
old cd in my hands cause i grabbed it when i left the car...he stops me, says hey! and is like is that our old cd for real??
you have that?? and introduces him self and everything...lol and talks to me for like 5 yrs about how i got it cause he knows
they never shipped that to NJ...and i said u sent it to me way back and that i even had a tape of old old stuff from liek
top 10 at 10 and the summertime cover..lol..and how ive never seen them live and missed them at fly fling the one year....asks
me how i know u and how long ive known u..etc. and how i even heard about their lil tour....and if i really liked hte old
stuff and im like we know the words "to hot handle like a candle on a mantle" and he laughed..lol...and he was really nice
and we talked for like 10 mins and then i had to direct him to wear he could get some candy...lol
and finally caught up
with steph and we went back to FYE after we found her and tim sent jeff over when we were hanging around and hes like when
tim told me someone had the old cd i didnt know what he was talking about...and then he said it was OUR old cd...and i cant
believe someone here has it... and he said a friend had to send it to you cause u couldnt get it here...and he was all
excited we came out to see them and had been following them for a while...lol and hoped we liked the new stuff as much as
we liked the older stuff
so they were very nice boys....and then we got to see them perform...and the new stuff is really
good....theyve grown alot and gotten so much btter than the last cd..and we told em that and stuff when they were done and
we got hte new cd and i got them to sign that and my old cd too..lol and they had pictures and they went and got me n steph
one and they signed em for us...and we took a pic with them..casue i told em i had orders to come back with a few pics for
ur website...and i hoped they didnt mind that i took a few pics of the show and tims like yeah her website is like devoted
to the kast.com or something..and im like yeah..but i dont know the addy i have it bookmarked..and hes like i gotta go check
it out...she gave me the addy a few weeks ago..soi as we were leaving jeff starts messing with us..and is like did sheri tell
u the best part of coming to a kast show? and im like ummmmm???? hes like the fans..you guys....they get to help put
the speakers away and help us cart away the equiptment...lol and I mustve looked at him like he had 3 heads...cause hes
like im just messing with you guys.....and im like I hope so....lol

Melissa Maries Show review for The Great Escape show, Oct 13th-
As the crowd awaited chanting "we want the kast"
, and" kk-aa-ss-tt!" The dome was packed and soon more people came inside to see what the noise was all about, and they would
soon find out. Jeff and Tim came out with 2 of there dancers Nicole and Krista singing, "how we do" as the crowd screamed.
They introduced themselves and the dancers and said hello. They then sang & danced and had contact with there fans even
having them sing some parts of the songs.They sang 4 songs, "How we do","Exsistence","Rise me up", & "Anyway u want".
You can tell by the way they perform they love and appreciate there fans and love what they are doing.Some of the girls, like
me, knew the words to the songs and that made them happy. They had huge smiles on there faces and began slappin and holding
there fans hands. The huge crowd was really getting into it.The energy in the dome was amazing. After they performed you heard
people saying, "wow I love this group", "I never heard them before", " I have to get the cd", some even said they wanted them
to come back out and sing some more. :) Such positive remarks boys !!great job!!

-American Pride Party-
This was a Free show put on by Fly 92...
The
Kast opened for Willa Ford and City High. The Kast drew as many screams as the following acts, and may have gained a few fans
that have missed shows in the past, such as the Fly Fling in 2000 and 2001. They performed many songs on their cd, "Anyway
you want" and showed off their dance skills to the crowd. Being an American Pride party, Jeff wore a tshirt w/ a flag on it
;)
After they performed they watched City High perform from the side of the stage, but did not get to sign autographs
this time around...
an overrall great show!
